Early in my career, I was desperate to fit in as a young injector. I took the plunge and trusted an experienced colleague for “natural” lip filler—only to be left with uneven lips and a full-blown filler moustache.

I didn’t feel like I could speak up. I didn’t want to damage the relationship. But I also couldn’t be seen like that. It was humiliating.

So I took matters into my own hands. I dissolved the work and corrected it myself—using clear, logical analysis that no course had ever taught me.

That moment changed everything. It became the foundation of my entire philosophy. Hydrated, balanced lips became my first specialty, my first media feature, and the inspiration behind the original name: POUT.

That was the day I stopped following the industry—and started redefining it.
