At a time when it was rare to be a nurse injector, Megan Kozak RN entered the industry in 2013. With a desire to “fit in” as an injector and be taken seriously as a young nurse in a physician dominated field, Megan sought treatment for herself. After requesting a natural lip filler result from an experienced colleague, coming out with an uneven filler moustache was not what she expected at all.

Instead of complaining to the provider, she simpy took matters into her own hands. Dissolving and then correcting the errors on her own, she learned the power of simplicity; analyzing her lips from an objective “symptom-based” perspective and calculating the correction to perfection.

The pain of botched became her power of principles. Realizing she no longer believed in old industry standards, she removed every certificate from her wall. Instead, she believed in the exact opposite: logic, data, and simplicity, ultimately designing a protocol grounded in fundamentals.
